How Can I Know I'm Choosing the Right Coach for Me?

Choosing and hiring a Coach is a personal decision, so it is important that you be clear about what YOU want from your Coach. Ask yourself the following questions when interviewing a new Coach:

  1. Do I feel comfortable opening up to and confiding in this Coach?

  2. Do I believe that this Coach can help me achieve my goals?

  3. Do this Coach and I have a compatible outlook on life?

  4. Will this Coach promote MY best interests?

  5. Is this Coach accessible to me for appointments that fit my schedule?

  6. Are the time and financial investment of working with this Coach appropriate to my needs and resources?

  7. What makes this Coach qualified to Coach me? What is her education? Is she certified as a Coach?

What is a Certified Coach?

Becoming a Certified Coach takes time, education, and practice. Not all coaches are certified, but those of us who are know that the process of becoming certified provides us with a wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise that can be invaluable to our clients.
